You liaison with experts in the field of accounting and tax, participate in the processes of closing of books as well as in consolidation and participate in projects and act as an expert in regards to accounting and tax. As Senior Accountant you will report to Head of Finance.
Assignments as Senior Accountant:
- Responsible for accounting and governance of accounting frameworks. Secure alignment with different accounting GAAPs due to operations in different countries.
- Responsible for taxes and governance of tax frameworks. Secure alignment with different legislations and tax GAAPs regarding VAT, Withholding Tax, Company tax, Transfer pricing issues and other taxes within TMHE Rental AB.
- Consolidation of TMHE Rental and the governance of the consolidation of TMHE Rental.
- Annual and interim reports issued by TMHE Rental
- External audit management together with the Company auditors
- Oversee the process, handling of funding and to act as a back-up for other positions within Finance.
- Participate in the process of closing of books
Experience and background
To be successful as Senior Accountant you have a university degree in Business administration with focus on accounting or similar education. You have several years of experience in qualified and complex accounting. In addition, it is valuable if you have experience in consolidation of several operations, preferable in multiple countries. In addition experience of handling tax issues related to the items mentioned. We expect you to be fluent in both written and spoken English, as well as Swedish.
As an individual you have a good ability to communicate and develop sustainable relationships with key staff in local offices. At the same time you are independent and self-driven. You show readiness to take on responsibility, demonstrate initiative and contribute both positively and creatively, where the emphasis will be on working with the Head of Finance. You enjoy working in a rapidly changing environment and have the ability to meet agreed schedules and deadlines. Other personality traits that are valuable for this position is perseverance, an analytical ability and the importance of accuracy.
