The position is located at the Global Headquarters in Södertälje and reports to the Head of Group Internal Audit.
Key responsibilities
The Internal Auditor will mainly be responsible for:
- Carrying out risk assessments and develop audit scope.
- Perform audit assignments in Sweden and abroad.
- Prepare audit reports and present for management when called for.
- Actively follow-up on the status of open internal audit issues.
- Participate in the preparation of the annual audit plan and with reporting to the Audit Committee.
- Promote and assist in establishing Internal Control and Corporate Governance compliance.
- Play an active role in developing audit processes and methodologies.
- Advice projects with internal control related questions regarding systems, processes, organizational changes, etc when needed.
Skills, knowledge and expertise
The successful candidate will need a University degree in Business administration, or an equivalent, as well as a minimum of 5-8 years of audit experience or experience from the areas of financial reporting, controlling and/or accounting. Furthermore a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation is an advantage. Applicants will need a good knowledge of MS Office applications, e.g. Excel, Power point, Word, etc as well as fluency in a Scandinavian language and of course English. If you have any additional language skills this is a great advantage.
Personal characteristics
To be suitable for this position you will need excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing, as well as an ability to effectively communicate and achieve actions on deviations in procedures to local management. You have well-developed interpersonal skills and are a team player with the ability to build cross-functional networks as well as capacity to work independently. Applicants must have excellent analytical skills and an ability to see the big picture as well as the details. The willingness and ability to appreciate frequent international travelling is essential.
